Why my mind is telling me stories when i start thinking to make money and accomplish anything?

I am wondering that whenever i start thinking to fullfill my goals or thinking about to make tons of money my mind start telling me that even if i accomplished that,i have to leave everything behind one day when i will die,and suggesting me to donot waste time to do this.But after sometimes i start getting the great urges to accomplish my goals.Can anybody tell me if these thinkings happening to them and what you guys do after?Do you guys have any suggestions of thinking differently or tell me why this happens?
