How do you make money as a stay at home mom?

My husband and I are trying ton conceive and I’ve been thinking about what we will do if we have a baby. I am really against sending it to a babysitter before it can talk. I worry about not knowing what goes on if the child is unable to tell me. Would rather care for the baby myself the first few years. Looking for things that worked for you or ideas on how to make money while caring for my child at home. My husband will be working of course. I work as an LPN right now.
